Silver Creek is a legendary spring creek near Sun Valley — glassy, cold, and demanding. The Sun Valley Company section managed by The Nature Conservancy is among the finest spring creek fisheries in the country, with enormous rainbow and brown trout visibly feeding on tiny insects in ultraclear water. It's a rite of passage for serious dry fly anglers.
Ernest Hemingway fished Silver Creek regularly and praised it as among the finest trout streams he'd encountered anywhere in the world.
